Writing isn't just a code, but culture.
My work attempts to make that culture tangible again through letters you can smell, touch, or hear. In this interplay between form and feeling, a new alphabet of empathy emerges.
Rob Stolte (1981) is a visual artist and designer. He currently resides in Haarlem (NL) and is partner at creative agency Autobahn. Stolte has created both commissioned and self-initiated typographic works for over 20 years and is represented by See Buy Art / Arteomnium.
